Buddhism: The Lists

Something that has always attracted me to Buddhist teachings is the compulsive use of lists. I love lists. The four this, the seven that, the five these, the six those. It is all so very logical, easily remembered and forms an intricate web of cross-list references like a great mobile in the mind.

I’ve always thought of creating a list of these lists and somehow visualizing their interconnections in a kind of mind map of Buddhist teaching. Someday. In the meantime, I stumbled across a great list of lists at Applied Buddhism.
